The WSSA News is published quarterly by the WSSA. It contains articles of general interest to social scientists, in addition to items of interest primarily to members. The Fall issue is usually published late August or early September, the Winter issue in early January, the Spring issue in early to mid-March, and the Summer issue in late June.
The WSSA News does accept proposals for articles from members, including students, faculty, researchers, and public agency employees. It also accepts announcements of awards, publications, and promotions of members, as well as obituaries and other announcements, such as election to office.
Deadlines for inclusion are generally late July or early August for the Fall issue, early- to mid-December for the Winter issue, late February for the Spring issue, and early June for the Summer issue.
